| A new way for citing papers published in Annals of Forest Science |

From the first 2008 issue, an article in Annals of Forest Science will be quoted as follows:
Ann. For. Sci. 65 (2008) 101
65 corresponding to the volume number and 101 to the number of the article: number 01 in issue 1 (replacing thus the page number). This scheme offers significant advantages and flexibility: it moves publication dates up, allows immediate quotation of an article soon after the page proofs are returned by the authors.
