Redwood epicormic sprout length and caliper for pruned and unpruned study areas in 2002 and 2006. Several treatments at Fortuna, Carlotta or Mitsui were not measured for epicormic sprouts because of extensive bear damage. Means followed by common letters within a study area were not significantly different (α = 0.05). Sample sizes are number of sprouts.
